Summer seems to be cruising by, and after a few feature episodes on the podcast, the new music has been piling up in the Free Form Freakout bunker. So, on this installment I tried to highlight as much of that new material as I possibly could, and I must say there are truly some remarkable releases included this time. I’d put the last offerings from David Nance, Ekin Fil, Bellows, and Peter Brötzmann/Heather Leigh right at the top of the list, along with the strong debuts from Benedict Drew, Private Anarchy, and Blak Saagan. Also, there are a few not-to-be missed reissues from Keiji Haino and Voigt/465, and an insane amount of high quality works coming out on cassette that I’m only scratching the surface of. More to come on that front in the weeks ahead. I hope you enjoy this episode. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or comments. As always, thanks for looking and listening.
