I’ve got what I feel like is another wide-reaching episode for you this time around. Again, lots of fantastic new releases and reissues continue to find their way to the Free Form Freakout bunker, making for some heavy late night listening sessions, so I’m excited to be out of my usual dark hovel and sharing some of these sounds with you. There are some incredible new offerings scattered throughout the show, with particular favorites coming from Headroom, Gaute Granli, Lee Noble, Samuel Dunscombe & Tim Olive, Berber Ox, and Posset. Also, file the new Franco Battiato LPs on Superior Viaduct and the new Tokyo Flashback deluxe 2LP set on Black Editions under the indispensable reissue category. You’ll have to check back with me in a month or two, though, when I’ve had a chance to get through the 14+ hours of A Little Electronic Milky Way of Sound by Roland Kayn. Needless to say, it’s going to take me awhile to fully process this electronic music masterwork.
