For this installment of the podcast, I’m pleased to be joined in the studio by Gregory Euclide. Gregory is an artist and art educator residing here in the MN River Valley whose work has appeared in various exhibitions and publications, both nationally and internationally. His artwork has also been closely tied to the dreamier side of the independent music world having created artwork for such artists and labels as Loscil, Lubomyr Melnyk, Seabuckthorn, Bon Iver, and Erased Tapes. More recently, Gregory started his own record label called Thesis Project that focuses on collaborations between two musicians or groups resulting in a 10” record housed in handmade packaging that Gregory, thus far, has created entirely on his own. It’s Thesis Project that is the focus of this installment of the show, and we play several tracks from the label’s current catalog. Gregory also brought along a stack of 7″ singles to play by some artists that have had a hand in shaping his musical preferences and his work with Thesis Project.
