While the calendar doesn’t necessarily agree with me, my summer is now officially over. The transition into Fall and full-time work, however, has been made more bearable by the arrival of a bunch of terrific new albums to soundtrack this shift. On this installment I play a bunch of that new material that has arrived, for the most part, within the last few weeks. There’s been a particularly large number of fantastic LPs showing up in the Free Form Freakout mailbox of late, so I’m pleased to be able to share tracks from several of those with you. I’ve been especially fond of the new offerings from Blue Chemise, A Happy Return, Olivier Brisson, John Saint Pelvyn, and Roy Montgomery, but then again I think everything jammed into this 2-hour episode is really great.
