For this last episode of the podcast for 2021, I thought it would be worthwhile to take a look back on the year, but rather than just go through a bunch of releases that I’ve already played and discussed on the show, I thought it would be fun to bring in a guest to join me. Given my appreciation for his music and his connection to Free Form Freakout through his Failure Of All Pop column, it seemed only fitting to ask Glenn Donaldson to take part. Glenn kindly agreed and on this show, we get into some of his favorite releases of the year and some of his favorites to come out on the San Francisco-based label, Paisley Shirt Records. I also selected some of my favorite tracks from records that Glenn recorded this year, along with a few other personal favorites that didn’t get as much attention or airplay on the show. I hope you enjoy this episode and hope you have a happy holidays. Feel free to get in touch if you have any comments or questions. As always, thanks for looking and listening.
