FFFoxy Podcast #251: Feel It Records feature

On this episode, I dig into the work of Feel It Records. Started in 2010 by Sam Richardson as a mere hobby label focused on releasing music from artists in and around his then-home base in Central Virginia, the label has since grown into a full-time operation releasing a broad spectrum of punk and punk adjacent music from a growing roster of national and international artists. The past few years have brought a re-location to Cincinnati and the opening of a brick-and-mortar record shop for Feel It, a move that has allowed Richardson to engage with and document more of that city’s vibrant underground music community.

I recently had a chance to speak with Richardson, and we discussed the history and evolution of Feel It Records, the move to Cincinnati, the bands he has been involved in, and much more. You’ll hear this interview in a few different segments throughout the show, and you’ll also hear tracks from several releases from the Feel It Records catalog. I hope you enjoy this episode. Feel free to get in touch if you have any comments or questions. As always, thanks for looking and listening.
