Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a chance to maybe relax and unwind a bit over the holidays. I’ve had a pleasant week off, but I thought it would be nice to just jump back into things with the podcast. I’ve got some feature shows in the works for the weeks and months ahead, but for now I’ve got plenty of newer music to cover on this episode of the show. I’ve really been enjoying the great late-night feel of these new LPs by The Frightening Lights and Wonderfuls on Bruit Direct Disques, which I decided to start the show off with. Like the last time around, I also mixed in a few older releases and a couple of titles from the past few months that I wanted to re-visit, too. There’s some old favorites by Major Stars and Double Leopards tucked in there and I spun another track from that excellent compilation on Vitrine called Map of the Interior.
