Been enjoying a stretch of beautiful summer weather around these parts, and I think we’ve found the perfect soundtrack for these days in The Garment District’s new album called If You Take Your Magic Slow. We couldn’t agree more with their label’s description of the album that reads: “A mix of surreal instrumentals and subtle turns conjures outdoor walks in transitional atmospheres and landscapes, nature hikes in the city, sunny days that are okay with becoming cloudy, warm music full of feeling that remains comfortably easy going despite the meticulous care given to its sophisticated orchestration and arrangements.” There are still plenty of days of summer remaining, so we encourage you to check this one out.
