Welcome to the 8th episode of the Stay-at-Home Edition of Free Form Freakout. Hope you all have had a good week. Free Form Freakout did indeed return to the KMSU airwaves again this past week for the first time in two months. They aired a feature show that we put together on the music of Flying Saucer Attack that we had recorded just hours before the shelter-in-place orders went into effect and it had not been broadcast yet. You can check that show out if you’re interested by visiting the KMSU website and linking to our archives through Radio Free America.
Right now, the plan moving forward is to record a few more weeks of these stay-at-home editions and then get back to our usual routine, which will likely still involve recording from home, but should include the weekly show with Carl and the bi-monthly podcast installments. We can tell you with certainty that we will be live on KMSU next Thursday, May 21st, at our usual 2:00 p.m. time slot for a special spring pledge drive edition. We’ve got some great LPs from Mississippi Records to give away to those that make a $50 donation to the station. We hope to hear from some of you out there.
